SYC Places at GYA Liptons MOBILE, Ala. - The SYC Lipton Team (1-2-10-2, 15pts) had their best regatta since winning in 2003, with a second place at the GYA Interclub Challenge hosted by Buccaneer YC. Pass Christian YC (5-1-1-1, 8pts) sailed an excellent regatta for a solid victory. Bay-Waveland YC (3-4-3-6, 16pts) ended their four-year winning streak with a third place. This is the penultimate year for the venerable Flying Scot as the GYA's Interclub boat will change to the Viper 640 sportboat for the 2018 season.
