Donations for Local Coast Guard Families
Thank you to all who donated to our Coast Guard Fundraiser! With the donations received through Southern Sailing Foundation, Elizabeth Ehrensing presented Seth Eury, President of the Chief Petty Officers Association, with a gift of $5,000 of $100 Walmart Gift Cards. The gift cards will be distributed to the Coast Guard servicemen and women through the Chief Petty Officer’s Association.
Thank you for your support of our local Coast Guard who is responsible for protecting our coast and aiding in water rescue for our area.

Southern Sailing Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote local, regional, national, international and olympic amateur sailing, water safety, maritime education and competition. This is accomplished in two ways; the first is to grant money to deserving sailors, clubs, and organizations that promote amateur sailing, racing competition, water safety, and maritime education. The second is through the provision of equipment, instructional clinics, and outreach programs, which facilitate amateur sailing, racing competition, water safety, and maritime education.
