After we are finished cheering Team SYC in the Liptons this weekend, we need to gear up support for a very prestigious event that SYC has been invited to compete in.  The New York Yacht Club’s US Invitational Qualifier will be held next week Tuesday Sept. 7^th through Saturday September 11^th.    

This series is the only opportunity for U.S. Yacht Clubs to earn an invitation to the 2011 NYYC Invitational Cup.

• This is a 2011 Team Qualifier. The top 25 % of qualified sailors will be eligible for entry in the 2011 Team Trials to be held in San Francisco. In addition, the final standings at the conclusion of the event will be used to select the eligible sailors who will represent the USODA on the Spring International Teams. Teams, number of sailors and selection requirements will be published separately on the USODA website.

Recreational Sailing for Kids is back this fall! 8-12 year olds can come join the FUN, sailing on Sunday afternoons from 1p-4p on Flying Scots and Sunfish.
