SYC Junior foils into Olympic Class
MIAMI — High school senior Sidney Charbonnet is spending this week at the 2019 Hemple World Cup Series in Miami foiling at over 27 knots in the Nacra 17 Olympic Class. Charbonnet and sailing parter Ben Rosenberg of Greenwich, Conn. have been training in the Nacra 15, an Olympic pathway boat, and have made the jump into the Olympic Nacra 17 to go head-to-head with other aspiring Olympic athletes from over 11 countries in the waters of Biscayne Bay.
