Meric to represent GYA at Mallorys (Updated)
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Meric and crew completed thirty-four races in 4 days at the US Adult Championship for the Mallory Trophy, hosted by the St. Pete YC. The team advanced to the final round, but did not place in the top finishers. However, the team was recognized by their peers with the Sportsmanship Award. Click thru for more info.

After qualifying at the J/22 Midwinters on Lake Pontchartrain earlier this year, SYC's Tommy Meric will represent the Gulf Yachting Assn. at this year's US Adult Championship for the Clifford D. Mallory Trophy, to be sailed in club-owned J/70s at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, November 9-12.  Meric's crew is Callendar Herman, Jonathan Nunn and Robert Brennan.
