Seawanhaka Cup lives up to international billing
(Sunday, Nov 9, 2014) The Seawanhaka Cup is heading home! The strong SCYC team won the first two matches against Royal Vancouver YC in the championship finals. The Canadians kept it interesting with a solid win in the third match, but Seawanhaka Corinthian proved too much and sealed the overall win in the fourth match. San Diego defeated Royal St. Lawrence in the petit final to take third place.

(Saturday, Nov 8, 2014) The 45th Seawanhaka Cup international match race challenge has lived-up to its billing as the championship on Sunday will be contested by Seawanhaka Corinthian YC and Royal Vancouver YC.  In the qualifier round robins, Royal Vancouver dropped three of their first four match before storming back to finish third.  In the semis, the Canadian team turned away a very strong San Diego YC team, while Seawanhaka defeated the Royal St. Lawrence YC team.  The defending champion Southern YC team missed the final elimination series.
