Reinvigorated Coco Seemann Regatta
Coco Seemann was an active racer for many years, both on the Lake and the Gulf Coast. She led SYC to four Knost Regatta victories and qualified as a skipper for SYC’s 1952 Lipton team, placing 2nd in her cup race. She was also the first sailor from our area to qualify for the Francis Adams Trophy, the US Sailing Women’s Championship in 1954, sailed in Riverside, CT. See full story in November Tell-Tale.
