SYC Wins Resolute Cup NEWPORT, R.I. - SYC skipper Marcus Eagan and crew, Andrew Eagan and Jackson Benvenutti, brought a metaphorical gun to the knife fight that was NYYC's Resolute Cup. The self-proclaimed Corinthian Championship of U.S. Yacht Clubs accepts 28 entries to determine which three U.S. clubs are invited to participate in NYYC's Corinthian "re-imagining" of the America's Cup: The Rolex NYYC Invitational Cup. Eagan's secret weapon was his notable experience - and success - in the Melges 20 class.
